Fun, Hands-on Cooking Classes for All Ages and Abilities
Hello and welcome to my table...
This autumn there are a lot of changes in the works for Talk of the Table. As many of you know, my husband and I have just become the proud owners of our very first flat in Strawberry Hill. It has been a chaotic summer but I have used this time to make some very important changes to my business as well as settling into my new home.
From September 2007 I will not be offering scheduled group cooking classes. While I have enjoyed seeing students bond in the process of cooking a meal together, scheduling and filling classes have been difficult and unreliable at times. Finding a suitable venue has been the greatest challenge of all.
In light of these difficulties I have decided to put all of my energy into providing custom cooking classes for both groups and individuals. Prices will vary based on the number of adults or children who are attending, the cost of getting to and from your home, the number of dishes and cost of ingredients, and the total time spent planning and cooking. It is my hope that there will be many more affordable options for people who have been put off in the past by the set price of three and a half hour group classes.
